A very warm welcome to our platform for the CAT training programme!

CAT means Civic Action and Transformation and is a training that is designed to strengthen people who working towards social change. This CAT online training was developed during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic (in March 2020), but it is our intention to support citizens, activists in social movement, leaders and members of NGOs and peacebuilder in any kind of crisis.

The training provides a space to reflect on our biographical imprints, experiences and resources to cope with crisis, our values which are the basis for our visions, and our different forms of power that we need to take the steps towards the realization of our goals. Last but not least, you will find a group of like-minded which will be a source of encouragement, critical support and sharing.

CAT trainings take place within a small group over the course of about one to two months. They work in both realms, on-site and online. For the online training, you find all materials here. If you would like to know more about CAT, see CAT trainings and the background. Check out dates if you want to know when a new training group starts.

Your participation requires the willingness to talk to other people about one’s own fears and needs, a technical device such as a PC, a stable internet connection, notebook or smartphone and time.

The training is free. As a non-profit organisation, we welcome donations (IBAN DE66430609678234883500, BIC GENODEM1GLS).

We are happy if you want to join us.
